SAAQclic at a glance

  • What is it? The SAAQ's online services portal. You book, cancel or reschedule your driving test there.
  • You need an account. Access goes through an account with the Government Authentication Service.
  • Cancel in time. At least 48 hours in advance, otherwise cancellation fees apply.
  • The phone works too. 1 800 361-7620, option 2, then option 2.
  • Help exists. The SAAQ offers in-person SAAQclic assistance, by appointment.

Good to know : the SAAQ does not publish public step-by-step instructions for booking: its booking and cancellation pages lead straight to the login. This guide therefore describes only what the SAAQ states. For the details of each screen, use the portal's “Besoin d'aide?” (Need help?) link.

Before you book: what to prepare

A few minutes of preparation keep you from getting stuck halfway through booking. Tick items as you go (your ticks stay on this device), or print the list.

Not comfortable with SAAQclic? Three ways to get help

  1. 1. The portal's help

The SAAQclic login page has a “Besoin d'aide?” (Need help?) link. It is the first thing to try for any question about how the portal works.

  2. 2. The SAAQ's SAAQclic assistance

On the SAAQ's appointment page, choose the “Accompagnement SAAQclic” service category, then your postal code or city, to find a service centre.

  3. 3. The SAAQ phone line

    1 800 361-7620, option 2, then option 2 for a driving test.

Important : AlloPermis is not the SAAQ and cannot book, cancel or change a test for you: these actions are done with your own account. We can, however, prepare you for the test.
